This is normally seen in horror games or.Exe games.

With a simple command prompt you can do it not only in RPG Maker MV but ACE as well.

This event will need items and conditional branches to work.

Make sure if you have a second tab of food you can make to include labels to go to the previous menu and to disallow the player to cancel unless they select the Nothing option.

To do so I need to make the items in the system tab(system-item-item list).

Click the set handlingElse: so that way the player will know if they do not have any.

STACK the next ingredient inside the section if the player DOES have them like so.

Make the items like you did with the Berry pie in the item tab.

You can group them like my example so you know what they make, or write in the items comments its crafting pathsthings it can be.

If there is no bread make a text box say something like You do not have ANY bread.

If the player DOES have bread remove 1 and make a condition branch INSIDE the existing one that looks for bread again.

Just make sure if you have recipes that need more then one of an item that you give and take the correct amounts.

Make a variable so that the food has a chance to come out as Perfect and does better then a normally cooked dish.

Have the player talk to an NPC to learn how to cook a recipe or craft their armor Make different cooking and crafting stations so that they have to go to different places to make different things.

EX: Cutting board for chopped dishes like salad, Stove for cooked dishes, forge to make metal weapons, tanners hut to make leather for shieldsetc Have a special copy of an item that has a star ( for example) that denotes that it was made by the player.

This can be used in dating games where you can gift it to an NPC and get better stats or different dialogue because you made it by scratch instead of purchasing it Want to make a game where the player has to compete against others with food Make the cooking skill variable add a star rating where it denotes how much better it is from the base dish No starOne star is normal, two stars is better, and three is best Each star can have different dialogue when presented to a judge.

I picked 2 out of like six designs that I really liked and decided to make them battlers.

They are about the size of a human battler, maybe the blue tentacle wider in the WIP picture below.

The bottoms are colored to look like they may be coming from a portal or have been severed in a fight depending on the battle back.
